Jumeirah Islands Residence

The project aim was to turn a standard Nakheel property into a NY loft style pad. By knocking down most of the preexisting walls we redesigned the layout in order to have spacious environments full of light and cross ventilation.

The client is an Art collector so in order to bring focus and enhance his collection the house background is prominent white. White walls, white porcelain tiles on the floor and white loose furniture.

One of the star pieces of the living room is a yellow L shape library cabinet, a colorful item that plays along with the juxtapose apple green Fatboys. The double height living room and the floor to ceiling windows allow the light to enter, bringing brightness to the room's mezzanine.

The social ground floor area is connected with the private rooms by a majestic glass and stainless steel staircase.
